Mapped to the memory block of each control unit are values used for identification
purposes, the Application ID block is mapped to all units (bar ECM) and the software
level of that unit is readable by looking at the McLaren Part Number within that block. When a module
is updated the McLaren Part Number is automatically updated.
Several control units also hold the VIN of the vehicle, these units need configuring using the
Actual Values
Actual values (sometimes known as Parameters or Live Data) stored in this section are
commonly contained in drop down menus.
The actual values will open in a freeze session and will not give the live values until the
values,
