6.4 Leg stands
Your mower should only be set on a hard level concrete floor in a secure location with
safety and stability in mind. The leg stands are to be used every time the machine is
disconnected from the tractor.
The stands consist of three swing down leg stands and can be used with the mower
bed resting horizontally where space permits or vertically where space is limited.
Before disconnecting from the tractor, swing down all three leg stands (3). While using
the machine, ensure all three stands (3) are fully elevated against the main frame.
If at all possible the mower should be stored in the horizontal storage position, for safety
and stability. Where space is limited the mower can be stored in the raised position, on
swing down stands, providing it's positioned on a perfectly level hard concrete floor.
Ideally it should be positioned in the back corner of a shed, away from movement and
personnel, with additional cross-bracing for safety and stability.
When the mower is sitting on a hard level concrete surface the level indicator at the
rear of the mower must show the dot near the centre, otherwise it is not safe to store it
in the raised vertical position.
CAUTION: All stands must be rested on a solid footing
The machine and stands must be rested on a solid footing, on level
ground securely before disconnecting from the tractor.
