If the fog machine is connected to the correct power source and the “ON / OFF” (I/O) button

does not light up when the machine is turned on, the fuse may be broken. Check the fuse and

replace if necessary.

1.  Disconnect the fog machine from the power source.

2.  Unscrew the FUSE cap using a Philip’s head screwdriver of suitable size.

3.  Check the fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type if necessary.

Cleaning

Separate the device from the power supply and leave it to cool down before

cleaning.

•  The device is maintenance-free. For this reason, you should never open it. If you do open the

device, the warranty will be rendered invalid.

•  Clean it only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical

solutions as the surface of the housing could be damaged.

•  You  can  clean  the  outside  of  the  fog  machine  with  a  damp  cloth.  Never  use  aggressive

cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be damaged.

•  To avoid deposits and residues in the fog fluid channels, use a special fog machine cleaner.

Observe the instructions for the cleaning liquid.

6.  Handling

•  Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device was taken from

a cold to a warm environment. The condensation water generated could destroy the product.

Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation

water has evaporated.

•  Never pull on the power cable. Only unplug it by pulling on the plug.

•  Unplug the power supply if you do not use the device over a period of time.

•  For safety reasons, always pull the mains plug from the socket during a thunderstorm.

•  Never touch the device close to the fog output opening when it is in operation or shortly after

operation is stopped.

This part of the device becomes extremely hot. There is risk of burning.

•  Never use dirty fog liquids. Always close the tank and the reservoir for your fog liquid right

after filling.

•  Always empty the tank before transporting the device or not using it for a longer period.

•  Only use water-based fog liquids. Suitable fog liquids are listed in the “Technical Data”.

7.  Troubleshooting

By purchasing this fog machine, you have acquired a product that has been designed according

to state of the art technology and that is operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or faults

may  occur.  We  would  therefore  like  to  describe  how  you  can  eliminate  certain  malfunctions

yourself.

Please observe the safety instructions!

Suddenly there is no more fog production during operation:

•  The device is re-heating. Once the heating process is complete, the device puts out fog again.

•  The device is no longer connected to the voltage supply. Check the correct connection and

the voltage supply of the outlet.

•  The fuse has been triggered/blown. Change the fuse as described. Should the fuse trigger/

blow again, have the device repaired in a specialised workshop.

•  The tank is empty and needs refilling.

The device continues to produce fog for a short period of time after it is switched off/unplugged:

•  This is not a defect. The remaining fog liquid in the fog output opening is evaporating.

Repairs other than those described above should only be performed by an

authorised specialist.

8.  Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household

waste.

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory

regulations.
