Maintenance
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the mixer:
Ꮨ
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before carrying out any servicing or
repair work.
Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has been disconnected from all
power sources.
Repair work must always be carried out by a specialist familiar with the hazards involved
and with the relevant regulations.
Cleaning
The outside of the device should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush. ?Never use caustic cleaning
agents or chemical solutions, as the surface of the casing could be damaged.
Replacing the fuse
If you have to replace the fuse, ensure that you only use fuses of the specified type and rated current (see “Spec-
ifications”).
It is inadmissible to repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
•
After disconnecting the mixer from the mains (pull out mains cable!), pull the mains cable out of the mains
connection (49) on the device. Carefully lever out the fuse holder (50) with the defective fuse.
•
Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
•
Now carefully put the fuse holder with the new fuse back in.
•
Only now may the mains cable be reconnected to the power socket on the mixer and plugged into the mains
socket.
