14. Record/Playback
a) Preparation
Select the desired song, a drum kit, the speed of the song etc.
b) Start recording
Press the "REC" button (5). The LED in the button flashes to indicate
the record function is ready.
To start recording, press either the "START/STOP" key (13) or hit one
of the pads.
The song you selected now begins to play. All pad hits will be recorded
from now on.
The metronome starts automatically (speech count "One - Two - Three - Four"), it can however be switched to tone signal using the
"CLICK" button (6).
If the button is pressed again, the metronome is switched off, see Chapter 13. f).
c) End recording
Press the "REC" button (5) or the "START/STOP" button (13). The LED
in the "REC" button is no longer lit, this indicates that the record function
is deactivated.
If "FL" appears in the display during recording, then the recording
memory is full and the recording is automatically terminated.
d) Playback
Pressing the "PLAY/STOP" button (18) an existing recording can be
played (or stopped).
If a new recording is made, it overwrites any existing recording.
When the device is switched off the recording is lost.
