Adjusting mirrors
Adjust the mirror to the desired
position by turning the housing
and the mirror arm.
Spring preload
Setting
It is essential to set spring pre-
load of the rear suspension to
suit the load carried by the mo-
torcycle. Increase spring preload
when the motorcycle is heavily
loaded and reduce spring preload
accordingly when the motorcycle
is lightly loaded.
Adjust spring preload for
rear wheel
Removing seat ( 65).
Remove on-board toolkit 1 .
WARNING
Spring preload setting and
spring-strut damping setting
not matched.
Impaired handling.
Adjust spring-strut damping to
suit spring preload.
If you want to increase spring
preload, use the tool from the
on-board toolkit to turn knob

clockwise.
If you want to reduce spring
preload, use the tool from the
on-board toolkit to turn knob

counter-clockwise.
