OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS

1. READ OWNER’S MANUAL before attempting to start or operate this 

machine.

2. Check engine oil and trowel gearbox oil.
3. Put engine switch to on.
4. Set throttle at idle position.
5. Choke engine.  A warm engine may not need to be choked.
6. Hold at least one safety switch.  Turn key to ‘Start’ position.
7. After starting:  open choke and allow engine to warm up at idle.
8. Position throttle for various operating

conditions.

9. TO STOP:  Return throttle to idle position; Release both safety 

switches; Turn key to ‘Off’ position.
