The rear defrost operation cannot be
performed without starting the engine.
ADVICE

After the engine start operation is initiated, the controller will automatically send
an answer back.
x
On some vehicle models, dash light does not turn on when the rear defrost is
turned on with the Remote Engine Start.
x
The rear defrost will automatically stop when the engine stops.
x
The rear defrost will automatically stop after 15 minutes of operation on some
vehicle models.
ADVICE
x
The rear defrost will turn on about 7 seconds after the engine starts, when
performing this rear defrost operation.
