At a Glance - Rear Cabin
Quick reference
Headphones listening is provided on
both rear cabin control units.
With headphones in operation, the oper-
ation mode can be selected indepen-
dently from the other rear cabin control
unit.
Headphones operation

Press chrome label 1 .

opens up.
Plug the headphones cables into the
headphones recaptacles located in
the DVD compartment.
Switch the remote control to the de-
sired rear cabin control unit.
On the remote control, press key


A headphones symbol appears on the
display, the selected rear cabin con-
trol unit is switched to headphones
operation.
For volume control, press key æ or
ç
on the remote control.

In the rear cabin, an operation mode
can be selected only one time; e.g.
the Radio mode cannot be started
twice for listening to a different radio
station; however, from either rear
cabin control unit, a station can be se-
lected for mutual listening by both.

The driver is not allowed to use head-
phones, as acoustic signals from the envi-
ronment, such as police sirens, are not
discernable, possibly causing an accident.
In many countries it is illegal for the driver
to use headphones.
