• If the device is not going to be used
for a prolonged period and before
storing it away, it is essential to
remove any remaining water from the
water tank (

) (see the “Cleaning the
Water Tank” chapter).
• Store the device in a clean, dry place
so that it is protected and is out of the
reach of children and animals when it
is not in use.
Cleaning the Water Tank
To clean the water tank (
7
), it needs to be
removed from the device.
1. Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power.
2. Take the cover (

) off the main unit (

3. Remove the splash guard (

) from the
water tank (
Picture C
).
4. Carefully detach the cables of the
ultrasonic atomisers (
1
) from the cable
guide (
2
) on the edge of the water
tank. Then remove the ultrasonic
atomisers from the mounts.
5. Remove the water tank from the main
unit (

).
6. Pour away any remaining water.
7. Clean the water tank thoroughly with
a little detergent and warm water.
8. Completely dry the water tank.
9. Insert the water tank into the main
unit.
10. Insert the ultrasonic atomisers into
the mounts in the water tank and their
cables into the cable guide. When
you do this, make sure that the ultra-
sonic atomisers are fully inserted and
are fi tted straight.
11. Insert the splash guard into the water
tank and place the cover on the main
unit.
MAINTENANCE
The device must be kept operationally
ready. If a halogen lamp (
11
) or an ultra-
sonic atomiser (
1
) should be damaged,
they need to be replaced.

Replacing a Halogen Lamp
Please Note:
When you touch and insert
a new halogen lamp (

), use gloves or a
cloth so that you do not compromise the
way that the halogen lamp works.
1. Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power and has
cooled down completely.
2. Take the cover (

) off the main unit (

3. Remove the splash guard (

4. Twist the halogen lamp anticlockwise
to release it and pull it out.
5. Insert a new halogen lamp into the
socket and twist it clockwise to fi x it
in place.
Replacing an Ultrasonic Atomiser
