SAFETY NOTICES
WARNING – Danger of
Injury
■
Keep children and animals away
from the packaging material.
There is a danger of suffocation.
■
The blades of the inserts are
sharp. Be careful when removing
and inserting the inserts! There is a
danger of cuts.
■
Use and store the product only
out of the reach of children and
animals. Improper use can lead to
injuries.
■
Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with
the product.
■
The product should only be used
if it has been fully and correctly
assembled. Check that all compo-
nents fit securely before using the
product.
■
Keep items of clothing such as
scarves, shawls, ties and long hair
away from the product during use.
■
There may still be some produc-
tion residues on the product. You
should therefore clean it thorough-
ly before you first use it (see the
“Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to

Do not expose the product to any
extreme temperatures, temper-
ature fluctuations or prolonged
direct sunlight.
■
Protect the product from: impacts,
fire and heat sources.
■
Do not place heavy objects on the
product.
■
Use only original accessories from
the manufacturer in order to guaran-
tee that there is no interference that
may prevent the product from work-
ing and to avoid possible damage.
SLICING
Please Note!
■
Never slice smaller items of food
without the finger guard. There is
a danger of cuts!
■
Move the finger guard on the
side rails of the slicer. It must not
come into contact with the blades.
Otherwise they or the finger guard
could be damaged.

The slicer is suitable for quickly pro-
ducing fruit and vegetable slices of
equal thickness.
1. Place the frame on the collecting
container (
Picture B
).
2. Insert the slicer into the frame
(
Picture C
). The chopping acces-
sory (see the “Chopping” chapter)
must not be used.
3. Wash the food, peel and remove
any cores if necessary.
4. Skewer the food onto the finger
guard.

Larger food items, e.g. cucum-
bers, can initially be chopped
up without the finger guard
until it is of an appropriate size
for this.
5. Hold the collecting container se-
curely with one hand and use your
other hand to move the food back
and forth on the slicer (
Picture D
).
As you do this, gradually push
down the grip of the finger guard.
The chopped food drops into the
collecting container.
