with water! Smother the flames with

which the device is placed in order to
prevent the device from being pulled

The device must not be moved during
operation. There is a danger of burns.

People with electronic medical
implants, e. g. pacemakers, should
keep a minimum distance of 60 cm
away from the device and, if in doubt,
consult their doctor before using the
device.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to

If a fault occurs during operation, pull
out the mains plug. Otherwise always
switch off the device first before the
mains plug is pulled out.

Disconnect the device from the mains
power before a thunderstorm or when
there is a power cut.
■
Always pull the mains plug and never
the mains cable when disconnecting
the device from the mains power.

Do not pull or carry the device by the
connecting cable.
■
Never spray cold water onto the hot
glass hob during or immediately after
use of the device. This could shatter!

Keep metal objects or other sharp
objects away from the device. These
could damage the glass hob.

Protect the device from other heat
sources, flames, persistent moisture,
direct sunlight or impacts.

Keep the device in a dry place at tem-
peratures of between 0 and 40 °C.

Never place objects or allow them to
drop on the device or the connecting
cable.

Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
■
The magnetic field may interfere
with sensitive electronic devices.
You should therefore keep electronic
devices and magnetic data storage
media away from it.
SAFETY FEATURES

The device is equipped with an inter-
nal timer. Once the timer time which
is set has elapsed, a beep sounds and
the device is automatically switched
off.
•
The device has overheating protec-
tion. If the device gets too hot, it
switches off automatically. In this case,
allow the device to cool down com-
pletely and then switch it on again.
