ASSEMBLING
ACCESSORIES
The accessories can be taken apart
if necessary, for example for clean-
ing. The way they are assembled is
described below.
Fixing the Cutting and Grating
Inserts
For easier handling, the handle (
2
)
should be folded out so that it forms an
extension of the frame for grating and
cutting inserts (
1
). The cutting or grat-
ing inserts (
7, 10
or
8, 11
) are inserted
into the open end of the frame. When
you do this, fi rst place the insert into
the guide rails of the frame and then
slide into the frame until it is heard to
engage. .
Attaching the Functional Lid to the
Frame for Lattice Inserts
1. Press together the two levers
on the inside of the frame for
lattice inserts (
3
) and at the same
time insert the functional lid with
punch (
4
) onto the mount on the
top of the frame.
2. Let go of the levers. This will fi x
the functional lid on the frame. The
functional lid should be capable of
opening up and closing easily.
Attaching the Lattice Inserts to the
Frame for Lattice Inserts
Place the lattice insert for small or
large sticks and cubes (
14
or
13
) into
the opening in the frame for lattice
inserts (
3
). Make sure that the locking
lugs fi t correctly and ensure that the
writing on the lattice insert is facing
upwards. The lattice insert must be
heard to engage.
CUTTING STICKS AND
DICING
Please Note!
■
Only cut food by pressing down
the functional lid! Do not attempt
to push it through a lattice insert
with your hand. There is a danger
of injury.
Accessories required:

5
)

11
)

3

12
)

4
)
To dice cubes, fi rst cut sticks,
then place them horizontally on
the lattice insert and press them
through.
1. Wash the food, peel and remove
any cores if necessary. Cut larger
pieces of food in half.
2. Place the silicone mat under the
glass collecting container.
3. Place the frame for lattice inserts on
the glass collecting container.
4. Attach the rest of the accessories
to the frame (see the “Assembling
Accessories” chapter).
5. Place the food on the lattice insert
(with the fl at side facing down if it
has been cut in half).
6. Flip the functional lid down towards
the frame swiftly and fi rmly, and
repeat if necessary.
Do not apply
force!
The chopped food drops into
the collecting container.
