While setting-up and using the Trailer 

Tongue Box keep work area clean and 

well lighted.  Keep spectators and chil-

dren out of the work area.   Never allow 

children to play in the Trailer Tongue Box.  

Never put animals in the Trailer Tongue 

Box.

  Use of the Trailer Tongue Box

A.  Do not modify the Trailer Tongue Box and 

do not use this product for purposes that it 

was not designed for.

B.  

Be aware of the danger of “dynamic 

loading”

.  This situation arises when a load 

is dropped into the Trailer Tongue Box, re-

sulting in a short term excessive load.  Dy-

namic loading can result in damage and fail-

ure of the Trailer Tongue Box and/or trailer 

tongue, and personal injury to the person 

loading the Trailer Tongue Box.

C.  

Never load people or animals into the  

Trailer Tongue Box.

  Keep children and 

spectators clear when loading, unloading 

and using this product.

D.  

Adhere to all Department of Transpor-

tation (D.O.T.) requirements when using 

this product

.  

E.  For the trailer that will support the Trailer 

Tongue Box, read all pertinent trailer instruc-

tions and warnings provided in the owner’s 

manual.  If trailer is attached to a vehicle 

when this product is set-up. 

make sure the 

vehicle’s engine is OFF, with parking 

brake set, before setting-up, and while-

loading or unloading the Trailer Tongue 

Box.

Weight loaded into the Trailer Tongue 

Box should be evenly distributed.

 Note the position of the vehicle’s 

exhaust pipes before setting up this 

product on a trailer’s tongue.  

Make sure 

exhaust pipes are not in close proximity of 

the Trailer  Tongue Box.  Materials loaded 

damage from vehicle exhaust.  If this risk 

exists on your vehicle, do not use the Trailer 

Tongue Box.

H.

  Always lock the Trailer Tongue Box 

when personal property or a load is in-

side the box.  The box comes with two 

keys;  store the keys in a safe, secure 

location when not be used.

I.  Comply with all regulations (state, local 

and federal) when installing and using this 

Trailer Tongue Box.

Keep in mind that the warnings previ-

ously discussed cannot cover all pos-

sible conditions or situations that could 

occur.  It is important that the person 

loading/unloading and using this product 

understand that common sense and cau-

tion are factors which cannot be built into 

this product, and must be supplied by the 

person(s) using this product.

MAXXHAUL is not responsible for the at-

tachment or the installation of this prod-

uct.  The attachment of this product is 

critical and beyond the control of MAXX-

HAUL.  It neither guarantees, nor will it be 

liable for  any damage resulting from the 

attachment or improper use of the Trailer 

Tongue Box. 

Limited Warranty

MAXXHAUL warrants to the original retail purchaser 

that the product is free of defects in material and 

workmanship at the time of shipment.  This Trailer 

Tongue Box is warranteed for 90 days from the date 

of purchase.  This warranty is expressly in lieu of all 

other warranties, express or implied.

Proof of purchase is required for warranty transac-

tions;  a copy of the original invoice or sales receipt 

is required.
