Safety and Care Instructions
❐
CAUTION: Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals
away from the packaging material.
❐
CAUTION: Danger of burns! The roasting dish and glass lid will
become hot during use. You should therefore always use pot-
holders or oven gloves.
❐
CAUTION: Danger of burns! Be particularly careful when carry-
ing the roasting dish with hot contents.
❐
Take care when opening the lid: Hot steam may escape.
❐
In the event of a
fi
re: Do not use water to put it out but smother
the
fl
ames with a blanket or similar towel.
❐
Avoid overheating the dish. Heating it when it is empty or evapo-
ration of the liquid without any being left over can overheat the
material and cause damage. Be aware that induction stoves heat
up at a faster rate than other types of stove.
❐
Overheating may cause burning of the non-stick coating and pro-
duce smoke. In this case, switch the stove off immediately and
make sure there is suf
fi
cient ventilation in the room.
❐
Noises can be generated due to the electromagnetic character-
istics of induction stoves and induction cookware. These noises
are caused by the technical design of the induction stove and in-
duction cookware and are no signs of malfunction.
❐
Check the bottom of the roasting dish for damage before each
use! Do not use the article on a stove if there are scratches, score
marks or uneven areas on the bottom. These could cause damage
to the hob.
❐
Never pour cold water into the roasting dish and onto the lid
when they are hot. The coating could peel off or the glass could
shatter.
❐
Use only suitable cooking and frying utensils for cooking and fry-
ing, e. g. spatulas or wooden spoons. Note: It is possible to use
metal kitchen utensils. However, to ensure a particularly long
service life for your pans and cooking utensils, we recommend
that you use kitchen utensils made from wood or plastic.
❐
Do not drop the roasting dish and in particular the lid and do not
allow them to be knocked violently.
❐
Do not use the article if it is damaged!
❐
Do not slide the roasting dish over a glass ceramic hob as it could
be scratched.
❐
The roasting dish and lid are dishwasher-safe. However, repeated
washing with detergents in the dishwasher may attack the coating
and have a detrimental effect on
fi
ttings.
Product contents
• 1 roasting dish; capacity: approx. 8 l (effective area for induction
(oval): approx. 20 x 33 cm)
• 1 glass lid
• 1 pair of oven gloves
Before Initial Use
The roasting dish and lid may still have some production residues on
them. Clean both of them before you
fi
rst use them with mild deter-
gent and warm water.
Tips on Use
Note on roasting gently on the stove: Initially the food to
be roasted will stick to the pan, but after a few seconds it
will detach itself.
• To pour liquid into the roasting dish
during cooking, pour it into the lid
handle. The liquid which is poured in
will then drip slowly into the roasting
dish and produce a particularly appe-
tising aroma.
How to save energy:
• Make sure during cooking that the roasting dish completely cov-
ers the hob.
• Whenever possible, leave the lid closed when baking food in the
oven.
Cleaning and Storage

❐
CAUTION: Danger of burns! Allow the roasting dish and lid to
cool down completely before you clean them.
❐
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads
for cleaning. These could damage the surface.
Oven use may cause discolouration of the stainless steel
surface. Discolouration does not pose a quality infringe-
ment and has no negative effect on the article. If necessary,
use special cleaning agents for stainless steel products to
eliminate any residues.
• Do not allow any leftover food to dry on in order to make clean-
ing easier. Wash the pan and the lid immediately after use.
• Soak any residues that may remain in hot water and then wash
with mild detergent and warm water.
• Dry the pan and the lid immediately so that no limescale begins
to form.
• Store in a dry, clean place.

The packaging can be recycled. Please dispose of it in an
environmentally friendly manner and take it to a recycling
centre. Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly
