37OO SCR Sport Yacht

  Owner’s Manual Supplement

Freshwater System

Your yacht features a pressure-type freshwater system.

When not connected to a dockside water supply, the water
pump’s DC breaker must be turned on to use freshwater.

The water pump’s DC breaker should be turned off when any of
the following occurs:

3

When the boat is not in use.

3

Whenever the water tank is empty.

When connected to a dockside water supply.

The water tank fill fitting is located on the port side deck. The
city water inlet is located on the port side of the aft cockpit.

A pressure accumulator tank is installed in
the freshwater system. The pressure accu-
mulator tank assists the pressure pump by
reducing on/off cycling and distributing an
even flow of water.

When your boat is to be left unattended for
long periods of time, pump the water tank
dry to prevent stored water from becoming
stagnant and distasteful. Should it become
necessary to disinfect the freshwater system,
ask your dealer about treatments available
for your yacht’s system.

The water filter should be inspected and
cleaned often.

The water tank is located in the aft berth,
under the inboard mattress.

The water level monitor, located on the AC
panel, displays the amount of water avail-
able in the water tank.

Water Heater

Your yacht is equipped with a 6 gallon water
heater (located on the port side of the aft berth).
Access to the water heater is through the aft
berth inboard vinyl wall panel.

The water heater is connected to the AC power
system, therefore, you must verify that the
water heater breaker on the AC panel is turned
on before water will be heated.

There is a heat exchanger system connected to
the port engine that allows heating of the fresh-
water by while the port engine is running. All
hoses related to this system should be checked
frequently for proper condition and leakage.

Be sure to read the manufacturer’s instruction
manual supplied in your yacht’s owner’s packet
