T9 text Input

Read this first!
T9 Text Input is an intelligent input system that allows
you to type SMS messages using just one key press
per letter.
T9 Text Input matches your key presses to words in its
linguistic database and displays the most commonly
used matching word. As you type, the word in the
display may change. Type to the end of the word
before editing! After typing the word completely, the
desired word usually appears in the display. Alternate
word choices appears in the display, when the down
arrow key is pressed one or more times.
Getting into T9 Text Input Mode
T9 Text Input is available when you are typing an SMS
message. The T9 Text Input icon appears in the top
right of the diplay when the handset is in T9 mode. If
the T9 Text Input icon is not displayed, press the
key repeatedly until the T9 Text Input icon appears in
the display.
The Display Headline
Mode: This field indicates
the current mode. See the
paragraph about mode
indicators.
Info: This field indicates the number of characters left
of the current message (maximum 160 characters).
In read mode this field will indicate the total number
of characters of the received message.
State: This field indicates the symbols of either shift or
caps lock. See the paragraph about mode indicators.
