When the software starts the screen will look similar to this: 

 

If you are NOT intending to use the Maxon Phone UI software and only want to load the 
drivers then you may install the drivers only. 
If USB is not present on your PC leave ‘Install USB Driver’ un-ticked. 
If a Serial port is not present on your PC leave ‘Install Serial Driver’ un-ticked. 

 

If you ticked ‘Install USB Driver’ observe the following alert, then click 

“OK”
