Use the temperature switch on the control panel and turn the knob to the highest temperature. This way
the appliance will heat up in about 15 minutes. After heating the temperature can be set at any desired
temperature. The indicator will go off when the desired temperature is reached.
Warning! Before first use of the appliance, it should be heated up between 180°C and 200°C.
Warning! When using the appliance for the first time, smoke may occur. This is caused by the protection
layer which is placed on the plates and heating elements.
When the desired temperature is reached you can place the mix for crêpes on the heated plate.
Warning! When using too much mix it will drop over the sides.
Warning! When food is spilled on the appliance it has to be cleaned immediately, otherwise it can damage
the appliance.
Warning! When the appliance is hot it is strongly misadvised to remove the crêpes with bare hands. Use
covering material or a spatula to remove the crêpes from the appliance.
When the appliance is not being used for a moment, turn off the appliance by turning the temperature
switch back to ‘0’.
When the appliance is not being used for a longer time, turn off the appliance by using the ‘on/off switch’
When the appliance is not being used, please remove the plug from the main socket.
We advice you to clean the appliance daily.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always remove the plug from the socket before any cleaning or maintenance is being done to the
appliance.
Warning! Let the appliance cool down before any cleaning or maintenance is being done to the appliance.
Warning! Do not use any aggressive detergents or scourers, which may cause scratches. Do not use gasoline
containing or solvents while cleaning. Make sure no water enters the appliance.
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent). Dry the appliance after cleaning.
