11 Evaluation/Use Notes
This reference design aids designers and is not
intended to replace the entire design process. The
designer should evaluate the reference design and
modify it, as necessary, to meet the specification
for a particular project. The designer should also

the specific application.

12 Layer Profile
The HFRD-34.0 DVI KVM switch includes
controlled-impedance transmission lines. The
layer profile is based on the following
assumptions:

Dielectric material is FR-4 with a
dielectric constant of ~ 4.2.
