Replace the pad on the
corners of shell if needed.
Make sure the LATCH belt
is not twisted.
NOTE:
The LATCH belt
MUST
be threaded into
the belt positioning guide
as shown on both sides of
shell.

Installing Rear Facing with
LATCH
1.
Place Child Restraint
in the Back Seat Rear
Facing
Move the front seats forward
to give you room to install
the child restraint. With the
child restraint in a reclined
position, center the child
restraint in the chosen
seating position.
2.
Do not use the LATCH along with the vehicle
lap or lap/shoulder belt.
Check LATCH belt before each use. Use only
if the belt can be tightened properly and
securely.
Attach the tether hook the storage location
on the base of child restraint when used rear
facing.
Failure to follow these warnings can result
in serious injury or death.
Tip:
You may need to pull
the pad off the front corners
of shell to help thread the
LATCH belt across the shell.

You must use the 1st
or 2nd buckle strap slots
when rear facing.
