You can activate or deactivate sending the emergency
texts in the Emergency Mode. To do so in MENU select:
Emerg. Settings->Emerg. Message ->Status.
7.8.4 Deactivating Emergency Sound Alert
You can activate/deactivate the emergency sound alert
while making an emergency call. In order to do so, in
MENU select: Emerg. Settings->Emerg. Alert
7.8.5 Emergency Voice Message
If the message is enabled, and the emergency call is
answered, the recipient will hear the message:
„Emergency call, press 5”. If the recipient does not press
the 5 key in 10 seconds, the phone will dial another
number listed as an Emergency Contact. Pressing 5 in
necessary to make sure the phone call is answered by a
real person, not by for example a voicemail.
Emergency message might be switched off only if we are
sure that saved Emergency Contacts have all forwarding
to voicemail deactivated (if busy, out of reach, unavailable,
or when it does not answer).
7.8.6 Emergency Key
You can activate/deactivate the emergency key. To do so,
in MENU select Emerg. Settings->Status.
