8. CHECKS BEFORE USE
Remove the battery pack before starting steps

Check the bit for wear.
If the bit is worn, replace it with a new one.

Check each part for damage and the
screws for looseness.
Loosened screws or use of worn or dam-
aged parts may cause a failure or accident.
Contact your distributor for repairs.

Check the movement of the trigger
switch, direction switch and nose.

Load the battery and check for noises,
odors and heat.
If you feel any abnormality, contact your dis-
tributor for repairs.
9. HOW TO DRIVE SCREWS

Set the direction to clockwise from the ro-
tational direction switch and pull the
switch.

Put the nose top perpendicular to the tar-
get material and push inward.

Keep pushing the nose top until the
clutch starts working and the bit stops ro-
tation.

When the battery has been discharged, the
tool will be stopped automatically. In such a
case, stop using the tool and charge the bat-
tery immediately.
∗
If too much torque is applied as may happen
when tightening screws in more than one hard
boards or hard wood, the motor automatically
stops to protect the product.
∗
If the substrate produces heat after continuous
operations under heavy load, the product
stops for 60 seconds to protect the substrate.
In such a case, rest the product until the tem-
perature lowers. If the work load does not
match the specifications label, do not use the
product for that job.
NOTICE: Do not use this product in such a
way that causes continuous auto-
matic stopping, for example, tight-
ening or removing screws in or from
hard materials.
The product may be damaged.
NOTICE: Use this product carefully.
Dropping or hitting this product may
cause damage.
NOTICE: Do not set the switch in the on posi-
tion after pressing the nose on the
target material.
This will not only prevent proper screw
tightening but may also cause damage.
10. HOW TO ROTATE / REMOVE THE
NOSE

(Fig. P) The nose angle can be changed
by rotating it by hand. It can be tilted to
right and left 30°, 50° and 75°.

(Fig. Q) Rotating the nose by 90° then
pulling the nose in the nose top direction
removes the nose from the product.
11. HOW TO REPLACE THE BIT

Remove the battery pack.

Rotate the nose 90° and pull the nose out
from the product.

(Fig. R) Press the bit holder at the base of
the bit and pull the bit out.

Push in a new bit.

Insert the nose into the product and ro-
tate it in the normal direction.

Remove the battery pack and collated
screws.

Remove the jammed screw.

screws.
