Read these instructions prior to installation.
Caution: Before installin _fan turn off
ower at service
anel and
check all visible screws and bolts for tightness

Remove plastic, white stabilizing bushing from top of central shaft (A).
Insert narrow end of bushing
into the shaft end of down_rod-light-canOpy/support
pole (D) with three holes, iining up the twin mounting
holes in both down_rod-light-canOpy/support
pole (D) and those of the white plastic bushing.
Down-rod-
light-canopy/support
pole (D) should be oriented with end of three holes to the fan body (wide portion of
light
canopy
stin towards
ceiling).
String
wires
(M) through
the
bottom
of
the
down-rod-Iight-
canopy/support
pole (D) to top of pole.
Shaft (A) is to enter white plastic bushing and down-rod-Iight-
canopy/support
pole (D).
Holes in both shaft (Al and down_rod-light-.:anOpy/support
pole (D) are to be
aligned.
Secure down_rod-Iight-canopy/support
pole (D) to shaft (A) with shorter (L,) bolt set with the iock
washer positioned In between washer and nut. When pushing bolt through down_rod-light-.:anOpy/support
poie (D) and shaft (A), make sure wires (M) are not damaged. Use set screw wrench to push the wires out
of the way if necessary. Caution:
Tighten nut and bolt set very well.

to junctIon box securely. Caution, Tighten sc",ws wetl. JunctIon box should be suItable
for fan support and secu",d dIrectly to butldlng structu'"
and be capable of withstanding
a load of 15.9 kg
(35 Lbs).

Orient the down_rod-light-canOpy/support
pole (D) so that the wide end of the canopy is towards the
ceiling.
Leave the protective, plastic sleeve over the lower portion of the down_rod_light-.:anOpy/support
pole (D), below the canopy. Take canopy
(CZ)
and retract its set screws.
Orient canopy
(CZ)
so that the
narroW end is to the ceiling and slide it up the shaft of down_rod-light-eanOPy/support
pole (D), to the
bottom of the light canopy Itself. Use electrical tape to secure the canopy
(CZ)
temporarily to the bottom
of the light canopy.
