Using the elements

Switch the hob on by turning the knob to 1-6, depending on the temperature
required, 6 is the highest setting.

Choose the element you want, by using the four knobs on the control panel.
Each knob has a symbol above it to indicate which element it controls.

There are two different types of elements. The large elements are suitable
for large pans and the two small elements are for smaller pans.
Hot hob warning indicators
When a hot hob warning indicator light is on, it is indicating the cooking zone has
some residual heat and will require the minimum amount of energy to reheat to
cooking temperature.
The indicator should NOT be seen that it is safe to touch the cooking zones if the
light is not lit. Care must ALWAYS be taken before touching any cooking appliance.
