8.16 eNTerTaiNMeNT TroUBleSHooTiNG – PiCTUre fUZZy or UNClear

NOTE: 

 If the internal TV is having reception issues (for example if channels only come in black / white or only certain channels come in) see 

the TV programming instructions in Section 10.6.  

1.RemovetheTVandconsolebackcovers(FigureA)Usingaverifiedgoodpieceofcoaxcable,hookthecoaxdirectlytotheTVjack.This

     bypasses internal connections for your machine or TV stand (Figure B).  

2.   If this does not clear your picture the issue is with the club's signal.  Make sure that the coax has a signal strength of at least 10db.  

3.IfStep1doesclearyourpicture,checktheinternalcablesandfittingsinsideyourmachinebyremovingthemotorcover(outlinedinSection

9,1).Makesureyouhavenodamage(kinks,cutsetc)andnostraywiresorpoorfittingsontheendsofthecablesanywherethatthecoax

cableisconnected(FigureC).FittingsshouldlooklikeFigureD,withacleanflushconnectorandnostrayaluminumstrandstouchingthe

     center conductor. Replace or repair any suspect cables.
