Sander, sanding discs (5pcs), dust box, soft 
bag and operator’s manual

Remove the random orbit sander from the 
carton and examine it carefully. Do not 

 

discard the carton or any packaging 

 

material until all parts have been examined.
If any part of the sander is missing or 

 

damaged, do not plug the sander in until  
the damaged part is repaired or replaced.

    WARNING:                     

  To avoid injury,  

ALWAYS turn the switch to the OFF  
position and disconnect the random orbit 
sander from the power outlet before  
installing or changing the abrasive discs 
or dust bag attachment.

INSTALLING AND REMOVING 

THE ABRASIVE DISC (FIG. 1)

To install:

1.  Remove all sanding dust or dirt from 

the sanding pad.

2.  Align the holes on the abrasive disc 

with the holes in the sanding pad,

 

making sure it is centered and that the 
edges are aligned with the edges of

 

the sanding pad. 

NOTICE: The holes in the abrasive disc 
must line up with the holes in the sanding 
pad in order for the dust collection system 
to function properly.

3.  Press the abrasive disc to the pad.

To remove:

1.  Peel the disc off the sanding pad.

INSTALLING AND REMOVING 

THE DUST BOX (FIG. 2)

To attach the dust box (Fig. 2):

1.  Unplug the sander.
2.  Align the raised rib on the dust box with 

the grooves of the sander, and then 

 

attach the dust box to the sander.

NOTICE: Make sure that the dust box 
is secured to the tool before beginning 
operation.

To detach the dust box:

1.  Unplug the sander.
2.  Pull up on the dust box and remove it 

from the tool.

NOTICE: When placing the dust box on 
the tool, be sure that the raised rib on the 
dust box aligns with the groove on the 
sander and that the dust box snaps into 
place properly. Improper attachment of 
the dust box can cause damage to  
internal components.
