5. Battery Maintenance
Please read following instruction to prolong the life of the unit’s battery. Make sure
you understand the safety information before handling the battery.
Low battery voltage
When electroboard’s indicator is red and flashing, you must stop driving or it may lead
to dangerous riding conditions and negatively affect the battery life.
When the battery reaches a critical minimum, the platform of the electroboard cocks
to prevent you from riding it. In case you insist to continue riding, there is a risk of fall
and it will negatively affect the battery life.
Do not use the battery if you encounter following:

The battery leaks any fluid.

The battery emits smells or is overheating.
Do not handle the battery yourself, always seek a professional assistance.
Do not touch any fluid that leaks from the battery.
Keep the battery away from children and pets.
Disconnect the battery charger before each ride.
Do not operate the unit when charging.
The battery contains dangerous substances, do not attempt to open the battery or
insert anything into the battery or charging port.
Disposal of the battery should follow local recycling laws and regulations.
Charging of the battery
Make sure that the charger is dry.
Open the rear cover of the electroboard.
Insert one end of the charger into the electrical socket (100 – 240V, 50 – 60Hz). If it is
plugged correctly, the green indicator will light up. If the red indicator lights up when
connected correctly, check the circuit for damage.
When the indicator changes from red to green, the battery is full. Please remove the
charger as soon as possible.
Use a standard plug only.
Charge and store the battery according to the instructions to prevent damage.
The average charging time is at around 2 hrs, longer charging can shorten the battery
lifespan.
