1.

Terry cloth bonnets can be machine
washed in cold water, using a small
amount of detergent. Then machine dried
at medium temperature. For longer bonnet
life, we recommend hand washing and air
drying.

2.

Wax applicator bonnets should only be
used once, and then disposed of properly.

3.

To prolong the life of the foam pad,

ALWAYS

 store the buffer/polisher with the

pad face up.

4.

Remove the bonnet from the foam pad
when the buffer/polisher is not in use, so
the pad can dry out and retain its original
shape.

5.

DO NOT USE ABRASIVE COMPOUNDS
WITH THIS TOOL.

6.

DO NOT apply too much wax to the
bonnet. Applying too much wax causes the
bonnet to become saturated and it will not
last as long. This makes polishing more
difficult and it takes longer.

7.

If the bonnet is continually coming off the
pad, you may be using too much wax.

8.

If buffing becomes difficult, you have used
too much wax.

9.

Use only a mild soap solution and a damp
sponge to clean the buffer/polisher.

10.

DO NOT

 immerse any part of the

buffer/polisher in liquid.

REPLACING THE PAD ASSEMBLY

1.

Remove the screw (1), lock washer (2) and
flat washer (3) from the center of the pad
using a #2      screwdriver (Fig. 12).

2.

Carefully remove the pad assembly (4)
from the shaft (5).

3.

Press the new pad assembly onto the
shaft.

NOTE:

Make sure the flat side of the disc

hole is oriented so it will slip over the
matching flat side of the shaft (6).

4.

Once the pad assembly is pushed firmly
onto the shaft, fasten the assembly onto
the shaft using the flat washer, lock washer
and screw.
