Notes on the cord
a) A short power-supply cord (or detached power-supply cord) is provided to reduce
risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.
b) Longer, detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and
may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a long, detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used;
I. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord
should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
II. The extension cord should be a grounding-
type 3-wire cord; and
III.The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or
table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

1.To add water in the kettle, open the lid by lifting the lid handle. Fill with the desired amount
of water to the kettle. Always fill the kettle between the minimum (0.5 L) and maximum
(1.7 L) marks. Too little water will result in the kettle

3. Plug into power outlet. Press the switch down to "I" position and the switch

4. Lift the kettle and then pour the water.
5. The kettle will not boil until the switch is uplifted. Allow to cool for 15~20 seconds before

Before initial use
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you clean your kettle before use
by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.
NOTE:
Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the
spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before connecting the power
cord to the power outlet.
