1.2    Operating Safety 

 

l

  DO NOT modify the machine without the prior consent of the manufacturer. We 

don

t assume responsibility for any accident due to equipment modification.   

l

  NEVER operate the machine in purpose for which it is not intended. 

l

  NEVER  allow  anyone  to  operate  the  machine  without  proper  training.  People   

operating the  machine  must  be familiar  with  the risks  and hazards  associated 

with it. 

l

  ALWAYS operate the machine with all safety devices and guards in place and in 

working order.   

l

  DO NOT wear loosely fitting clothing that might get caught in the machine.   

l

  DO  NOT  operate  the  machine  in  poorly  ventilated  spaces.  There  is  a  risk  of 

carbon monoxide poisoning. 

l

  Long  exposure  to  loud  noise  without  ear  protectors  can  cause  permanent 

damage to hearing. Long exposure to vibrations can damage the hands, fingers 

and wrists.   

l

  DO NOT use the machine if you experience discomfort, cramp or pain. 

l

  ALWAYS  operate the  machine  with both of  your feet  on  the ground.  DO  NOT 

stand, sit or ride on the machine while in operation. 

l

  DO NOT use the machine near flammable material or in explosive environments. 

The exhaust pipe can get very hot during operation. Sparks can be emitted from 

it, and these can ignite flammable material.   

l

  ALWAYS  check  that  all  controls  are  functioning  properly  immediately  after 

start-up. DO NOT operate the machine unless all controls operate correctly. 

l

  ALWAYS  remain  aware  of  changing  surface  conditions  and  use  special  care 

when  operating  the  machine  on  slopes  or  hills.  ALWAYS  ensure  that  all 

personnel  in  the  vicinity  are  higher  up  the  slope  than  the  machine.  ALWAYS 

operate  straight  up  and  down  on  slopes.  The  machine  could  shift  or  slide 

unexpectly.   

l

  NEVER operate the machine with the fuel cap loose or missing. 

l

  NEVER touch the engine, exhaust system or eccentric element of the machine. 

They are extremely hot during operation. 

l

  DO NOT touch the V-belt and the rotating parts during operation. 

l

  NEVER operate this equipment in an explosive atmosphere. 

l

  NEVER use the defective parts.
