MAINTENANCE
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE CHART
CAUTION
◦ Do not attempt to start or operate a duster that indicates a fuel leak.
◦ Always remove the spark plug cap from spark plug when servicing the engine to prevent accidental starting.
Note: The service intervals indicated are to be used as a guide. Service to be performed more frequently as necessary by operating condition.
M : Service to be performed by an authorized Maruyama engine dealer.
★ : Service more frequently under dusty conditions.

Check and replenish fuel

Check for fuel leakage
●
Check bolts, nuts and screws for looseness and loss
●
Check engine idle speed adjustment
●
M Clean air filter element
●
M Remove dust and dirt from engine screen
●
M Remove dust and dirt from air intake screen
●
Tighten bolts and nuts
●
Clean spark plug and adjust electrode gap
●
M Remove dust and dirt from cylinder fins
●
★ Remove carbon deposits in exhaust port
●
★ Clean net of spark arrester
●
Replace fuel filter
●
★ Remove carbon deposits on piston head and inside cylinder
●
★ Remove carbon deposits in transfer ports
●
Replace fuel tube, fuel tank cap gasket It is recommended to replace every 3 years.
