(Reset)
... the fixture is indexing effects at startup.
Wait for reset to complete.
(Serial reset)
... the fixture has received a reset command
via DMX.
Wait for reset to complete.

control panel and motherboard (this display
appears briefly when powering the fixture on).
Check fuses.
Check cable and connectors between
control panel and motherboard.

(Check-sum error)
...a fixture software (firmware) upload is
unsuccessful.
Repeat the upload. Contact Martin
service personnel if problem continues.
(Lamp temperature cutoff)
(Yoke temperature cutoff)
...one of the sensors is reporting temperature
above maximum. Power to the lamp is shut
down.
Ensure free airflow around fixture.
Clean fixture.
Check that ambient temperature does
not exceed max. permitted level.
Contact Martin service personnel if
problem continues.
...the lamp is too hot to strike.
Allow the lamp to cool for 8 minutes
before attempting to restrike.
...the fixture is below the minimum
temperature for the lamp to strike.
Leave the fixture powered on for a
while to generate a little internal heat.
Increase the ambient temperature.
(Lamp explosion)
...the fixture has entered lamp explosion mode
because it has detected a lamp failure. Pan
and tilt are locked and DMX control is
disabled.
Check lamp. Pan and tilt are released
and DMX control is re-enabled when
power is cut, then reapplied.
(Lamp lifetime warning)
...the lamp is within 200 hours of the end of its
lifetime. The Service warning light will light
yellow.
Replace lamp.
...the lamp has exceeded its lifetime or there is
a lamp error (no light from lamp although
power is applied). If the lamp has exceeded its
lifetime, lamp power will be shut down, the
flashing
message in the display will
alternate with
, and the Service
warning indicator light will light red.
...the effects hatch is open and power is
applied.
If you do not need access to effects,
close the effects hatch to restore
normal operation.
If this message appears while you are
trying to reset the fixture, close the
effects hatch fully and start the reset
again.
Note that the effects hatch must be
firmly clipped into the fully closed
position.
(Real-time clock error)
...the real-time clock is not running correctly.
Contact Martin for replacement of the 3
volt battery on the main PCB.
Upload new fixture software.
Contact Martin service personnel if
problem continues.
