OPERATING THE MAGIC MOON
Switch on power to the Magic Moon, and the light will turn on. Sounds are picked up by a
built-in microphone, thus sound activating both the color changing mirror and the beam
rotation to the beat of the music. A special electronic circuit - the Automatic Gain Control -
serves to adjust the gain when the average sound pressure alters. For this reason you will
not see any potentiometer for adjusting the sensitivity of the microphone.
IMPORTANT
The motors in the Magic Moon are controlled via an electronic circuit. For this
reason, you should not attempt to dim the Magic Moon by means of a dimmer
pack or any similar equipment. Otherwise, damage might occur to the Magic Moon.
However, it is legal to use the full on and full off levels on the dimmer pack as well
as using a switch pack to remotely switch on and off the Magic Moon.
