Replacing a VJ Printhead
Nozzle Block
To replace a nozzle assembly, follow the directions below:
1) Purge the printhead.
2) Run a print sample while the printhead is in the “purge” mode.
3) Check the print sample to locate the clogged nozzle. The clogged
nozzle will be the dot(s) that did not print or are of poor quality.
4) Starting with the top dot and working down, count the dots of the
sample; the problem nozzle will correspond with the problem dot. (See
Figure 7G.)
5) Exit the purge mode on the controller.
