Operation
Turning Scale On/Off
To turn the scale on, press the
ON/OFF
button. Scale will display
and will then
enter active weighing mode.
To turn the scale off, press the
ON/OFF
button.
Zero Operation & Setting
With the scale switched on and nothing on the scale, the display should show zero.
If there is nothing on the pan and the display is not zero, press the
TARE/ZERO
button to
set zero.
Weighing
To weigh an item, place it in the middle of the platter. When the reading has stabilised, the
stable sign will show (see page 5).
If an item is heavier than the scale capacity, the display will show
‘
Err
’.
Using the Tare function
Tare allows the user to zero the weight of a container from the reading shown on the
display of the scale, thus giving the true weight of the product being weighed.
Turn on the scale by pressing the
ON/OFF
button.
When
is displayed on the screen, place the empty container on the platter.
Press the
TARE/ZERO
button
after the weight stabilises and the stable sign appears on the
display.
The display will return to
.
Place the item that needs to be weighed (without removing the tare object) on the scale.
The display will show the Net weight of the item.
To remove the saved tare value, remove the container from the platter and press the
TARE/ZERO
button
.
Changing Units
The
UNIT
button
allows you to switch from weighing in one unit to another. Simply press
the
UNIT
button before or during weighing.
