Setting a PIN
An alternate way to secure your device is through a numeric Personal Identification Number (PIN).
1. Tap Screen Lock option under Settings>Security ( Figure 6-6 ) .
2. Select PIN ( Figure 6-6 7) .

“is displayed (Figure 6-89). Follow the
instructions displayed on the screen to complete the configuration.
4. The selected PIN should have at least 4 characters.
5. Touch Cancel to go back to Security settings screen or touch Continue to get started.
Setting a Password
The third option to secure your device is through a alpha-numeric password
1. Tap Screen Lock option under Settings>Security ( Figure 6-6 ) .
2. Select Password ( Figure 6-6 7) .
