3.1.1.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING
Depending on the desired application (see section 1.3.) different types of installation are provided.

HEATING panels have an original suspension (aluminum profiles at the backside of the
panels and according screws for wall / ceiling mounting are enclosed).
• Make sure that the power plug during assembly is not plugged in. During installation the unit,
make sure that the heating panel is not in the ‘ON’ state.
• Do not make any holes in the heating panel. Should holes been made for any reason, do not
put the device into operation in any case. Please contact the manufacturer or dealer from whom
you purchased the product.
• Use the enclosed
mounting template
and follow the instructions for installing as described in
detail, in order to ensure a quick and easy installation.
• If the device is installed in children's rooms or rooms accessible to children, make sure that the
device is suspended 1.2m above the ground.

HEATING panels give off at the backside only convection heat
(no infrared radiation). However, make sure that the distance to the back of the heating panels
(metal / aluminum plate) is not less than 25mm in order to ensure ventilation. This distance is
always given when you use the standard suspension. If you use a different mounting system than
the original, warranty as well as liability for consequential damages is excluded.

HEATING panels send out infrared radiation only on the front
side. Make sure that a minimum distance of 25cm to the front is given.
• When mounted in public spaces, the VDE 0108 has to be observed.
• Do not mount the heating panel near a shower, tub or a swimming pool. Make sure that the
heating panel cannot be touched by any person who is in the bath or shower. In case of
installation in wet rooms, the installation has always been done by a specialist company and
according to VDE0100 part 701, 702 and 703 respectively to the ÖVE-EN standards.
