1.  Open the battery compartment cover

2.  Insert three C batteries, following the polarity marks 

(+)

3.  Replace the battery compartment cover 

(C2)

SECTION 3

After the batteries are inserted, the clock will automatically start to 

search for the WWVB time signal. The radio control icon 

J

The clock automatically searches for the time signal at 2:00 a.m. 

every day to maintain accurate time. If the reception fails, the 

scanning will stop and the icon

 will disappear from the 

display.

• 

The clock can be set to search for the time signal manually by 

pressing and holding the

 button

 for three seconds.  Each

The scanning can be stopped by pressing and holding the

To select the time zone, set the RCC function to ON in setting 

mode, then press and hold the 

▲/TIME ZONE

 button (B1).

There are seven time zones to choose from:

 

 

 

 

 

Alaskan – AK,

 Hawaii – H.

The   icon will be visible on the display if Daylight Saving Time  

has been activated

• 

In time display mode, press and hold the 

MODE

 button (B3) for 

three seconds to enter the Clock/Calendar setting mode.

• 

The setting sequence is as follows: 

12/24-hour, RCC ON/OFF, 

Time zone, Weekday language, Hour, Minutes, Seconds, Year, 

Month, Date, DST ON/OFF,

 Temperature units and Alarm duration.

• 

Press the ▲

 or the ▼

 button to adjust the values, then 

press the 

MODE

 button

(By pressing and holding the ▲

process can be accelerated to reach the desired value faster.)

To display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format, press the 12/24 

button

• 

The day of the week and the month can be displayed in one of 

three languages: English, French or Spanish.

Note:

1.  The clock will automatically exit the setting mode after 15 seconds 

if no button is pressed.

2.  Alarm sound duration: there are two options available, “1 minute” 

and “2 minutes”.

3.  The seconds can only be adjusted to 0.
4.  If the area can receive the WWVB signal, and if both the RCC 

function and the DST function are ON, 

N

 will be visible on 

the display during Daylight Saving Time.

Press the MODE button

 to select the alarm time. ALARM

While viewing the alarm time, press and hold the MODE button 

(B3) for three seconds to enter the alarm time setting mode. Press 

the ▲
