Date and Time

Because the CDR420 uses the date and time as the 
default name for a recorded track, and tags a recorded 
track with the date and time each recorded track be-
gins, be sure to set the current date and time. 

The CDR420 can be set to automatically adjust for 
Daylight Savings Time.

The date and time settings will remain stored for up 
to 10 years if the CDR420 is unplugged from external 
power.

Quick instructions:

Press UTILITY MENU 3x ............ PRODUCT SETUP.
Press Jog Wheel .............................. SET DATE/TIME.
Press Jog Wheel ..................... Date/Time item fl ashing.
 

Turn Jog Wheel .......................adjust fl ashing item.

 

Press Jog Wheel ....................... switch to next item.

Press Stop button   .................................................exit.

NOTE:
In the example, we are in  Chicago on August 25, 2005 around 
four thirty in the afternoon after a trip to Cairo, Egypt. The date 
and time need to be reset from Cairo time.

5  Turn the Jog Wheel to 

change the hour. When 
correct, push and re-
lease the Jog Wheel.

6  Minutes begin fl ashing. 

Turn the Jog Wheel 
to change the minute. 

When correct, push and release the Jog Wheel. 

7  AM/PM fl ashing. 

Turn the Jog Wheel to 
toggle between AM 
and PM. 

  When correct push and 

release the Jog Wheel.

8  Month fl ashing. Turn 

the Jog Wheel to tab 
through months. When 
correct, press and 
release the Jog Wheel.

9  Day fl ashing. Turn the Jog wheel to tab through 

the days.

11 Enable daylight sav-
