Usage
IMPORTANT!
THIS PRODUCT REACHES HIGHTEMPERATURES
1. Plug into a suitable mains supply when the straigh-
tener is ready for use. There is no need to preheat
the straightener.
Always place straightener on a solid, flat, heat resistant-
surface. Do not place straightener on any soft or uneven-
surfaces such as carpets, bedding or rugs and never co-
ver. The plates reach a high temperature quickly.
2. Add heat protection spray throughout hair for protec-
tion, shine and a long lasting style.
3. Turn the straightener on, to the desired heat setting.
Thepower on indicator light will illuminate, and the
plates will rapidly heat up and be ready for use within
seconds. Selecting the High heat setting will take
marginally longer to heat than the Low heat setting.
4. Separate a section of hair approximately 5cm in
width and smooth it out with a brush.
5. Place the chosen section of hair between the plates
of the straightener and close the plates. Take care
not to touch the very hot plates.
6. Hold the straightener in place until the hair is ful-
ly heated this will be almost instant. When holding
the straightener always ensure fingertips are placed
away from the hot plates.
7. Once the hair is heated, holding the hair taut, care-
fully slide the plates along the selected section of
hair, in one smooth movement all the way down to
the ends.
8. Keep the strands of hair smooth whilst you work to
avoid ridges.
Safety Cautions
These professional straighteners reach very high
temperatures. Do not leave on your hair for more
than a few seconds as this may damage your hair.
Always avoid plates coming into contact with hands
or skin.
Never cover the unit with anything, such as a towel.
Never place on a surface that isn’t heat resistant and
always position out of reach of children.
Never drop the straightener on to a hard surface, as
this may cause permanent damage to the solid ce-
ramic plates.
Do not immerse any part of the unit, cord set or plug
in water or any other liquid.
Switch off and allow to cool fully, away from children
on a heat resistant surface before cleaning and sto-
rage.
