Charging the battery
•
You will need to charge the battery before you use your floodlight for the first time.
•
Only charge the battery at ambient temperatures of 10–40°C.
•
You may use the mains adapter (5) or 12V car charger (6) to charge up your floodlight.
Consult your vehicle’s user manual when charging with the 12V charger cable from your
vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.
•
Connect the mains adapter (5) to a 230V AC outlet and connect it to the charger socket
(8) at the bottom of the floodlight.
•
The LED on the mains adapter will turn RED while charging.
•
Once the battery is fully charged, the LED on your mains adapter will turn GREEN.
•
Remove the charging cable and seal the charging socket using the cap (8).
Cleaning and storage

Use a soft lint-free cloth to clean your floodlight.
•
You may moisten the cloth with a gentle detergent to clean your floodlight if heavily
soiled.
•
Do not use solvents such as alcohol, spirits or thinners to clean your floodlight as these
chemicals may damage the housing, surface finish or accessories.
•
Keep your floodlight in a dry place out of children’s reach.
Disused electrical appliances and environmental protection
The crossed-out dustbin means that you should always dispose of this appliance at a
specialist recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment.
