Before using electric power-tools please read and understand the attached safety-
instructions!
Read instruction-manual before use!
Do not use during rain or for cutting wet hedges or bushes!
Disconnect cable from the mains immediately, if it is damaged or cut!
Intended use
This machine is intended to cut hedges, bushes and shrubs.
Additional safety-hints for hedge-trimmers
•
Unplug your power-tool before starting any maintenance- or cleaning-jobs.
•
Carefully check the power-tool, the cable and the plug, before using the machine. Damaged
parts have to be repaired or replaced by an authorized workshop.
•
Be sure to wear working-gloves, safety-goggles and non-slip shoes during your work.
•
The hedge-trimmer must always be hold by both of your hands on the provided handles.
•
No other person must stay within a radius of abt. three meters during your work.
•
Do not use the hedge-trimmer during rain or for cutting wet hedges or bushes.
•
Pay attention, that no metal objects can be touched with the blade rail (wire fence, planting-
helps etc.)
•
Never touch the blade rail of the hedge-trimmer with your hands.
•
Before carrying or storing the hedge trimmer be sure to fix the blade-cover.
•
Let the cable always lead to the rear of the machine and observe not to cross the cutting
line.
•
The hedge-trimmer must not be used by persons less than 16 years old.
•
Whenever the blade rail is blocked during your work by branches or other objects,
immediately switch off the machine and disconnect it from the power supply, before
removing the blockage.
•
Only use extension cables, which are water-spray protected and which are approved for
outside jobs.
•
Power tools, which will be used in different outside areas must be connected via residual-
current-operated current breakers.
•
Always fit the enclosed safety guard in the slot on the hedge-trimmer, in order to prevent
touching the blade with your hands during your work.
