INTRODUCTION

SET UP
MOUNTING ON TRIPOD &
The ring "A" has both a 1/4" and 3/8" female attachments “B” and “C”.
Where possible, use of the 3/8" thread attachment “C” is desirable due to its
greater connective strength.
This does not mean that use of the 1/4" thread is not a secure method of
attachment.
To remove the ring "A", allowing selection of the attachment size firstly turn
over the plate "D" (fig. 2).
- Rotate the ring "A" so as to align the seat "E" with the tooth "F"
- Remove the ring "A"
Reassemble the ring "A" proceeding with the opposite sequence
Fix the plate "D" on to the tripod (fig. 3) by screwing the ring "A" onto the
tripod's screw WITHOUT APPLYING FORCE
The ring "A" can slide along the slit "G" allowing the best balance position to
be achieved before fully locking the unit.

PREPARAZIONE
MONTAGGIO DELLA BASE SUL TREPPIEDE E
La ghiera “A” è dotata di fori filettati da 1/4” “B” e 3/8” “C” (fig. 1).
Utilizzare se possibile il filetto da 3/8” “C” che garantisce maggior resistenza.
Usare il filetto da 1/4” solo se necessario.
E’ possibile rimuovere la ghiera “A” per scegliere l’attacco femmina da
accoppiare al treppiede :
- ribaltare la piastra “D” (fig. 2)
- ruotare la ghiera “A” e portare la sede “E” contro il dente “F”
- sfilare dal basso la ghiera “A”
Rimontare la ghiera “A” procedendo in senso inverso.
Per il montaggio della piastra “D” sul treppiede (fig. 3), avvitare, SENZA
FORZARE, la ghiera “A” nella vite d’attacco del treppiede.
La ghiera “A” corre lungo la feritoia “G”: prima del bloccaggio definitivo,
scegliere la posizione che consente il miglior bilanciamento.
