Every two years and after every emergency lowering

Replacement of the two 9 V block batteries
§ If the 9 V block batteries are not replaced during the
maintenance interval or after use, the electric emergen-
cy lowering function will cease to work.

The hospital bed can still be used and fully complies
with the applicable standards and guidelines.
