Disc Basic Operation
Once all the connections and settings have been made, the DVD unit is readyfor normal use. Prior to playback,
make sure the following operations have been carried out:
1. Switch on the TV and select suitable mode.
2. Switch on this DVD unit.
3. Press the INPUT key on the front panel or on the remote control and select DISC. LOADING will be shown on
the screen. lf there is no disc, NO DISC will be shown on the screen.
4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE key, the tray comes out automatically.
Play Disc
1. Insert a disc into the DVD unit and it will start playing automatically. Press PLAY/PAUSE to temporary stop
playback, press it again to resume.
2. Press NEXT or PREV to jump to next or previous track/chapter/fi le.
3. Press F.WARD &B.WARD key to get 2X, 4X ,8X, 16X, 32X, normal play circular fast forward & backward function.
4. Press STOP key once to enable memory stop.
5. Press PLAY to execute continuous place back.
6. Press STOP key twice to stop playback.
DVD Description of Functions
Subtitle This DVD function enables you to select
multi subtitle languages (Depending on the disc encoded).
Press SUBTITLE key to get the desired display.
Title Press the TITLE key to get the title menu. (This operation works
only for multi title encoded discs).
Menu Press the MENU key on remote to return to the main menu.
Direction keys While playing discs, the four direction keys (up, down, left,
right) enable you to select your options in title, menu or setup.
Number keys Press the number keys to select the titles.
Time While playing a DISC, press the TIME key repeatedly. The title,
chapter and time will be displayed depending on which type
of disc playing
PBC In PBC ON mode (press MENUIPBC FOR vcd 2.0), song selec-
tion can only be made in the main menu.
Repeat from A to B Press A-B key once to set the initial point (A).
Press A-B key again to set the end point(B).
Repeat
Press REPEAT 1x: „ Chapter“ will be displayed. Chapter
repeat is activated.
Press REPEAT 2x: „
Title“ will be displayed. Title repeat
is activated.
Press REPEAT 3x: „
all“ will be displayed. All repeat is
activated.
Press REPEAT 4x: Chapter repeat is activated.
