INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Read all of these instructions carefully before operating the unit.
2. The heater is hot when in use, do not touch the hot surface of the heat-
er and keep all combustible materials at least 3 feet from the heater.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is being used near chil-
dren.
4. Do not leave the heater unattended when in operation.
5. Always unplug the heater when it is not in use.
6. Do not operate the heater if the plug or the power cord is damaged in
any way or the unit has malfunctioned.
7. The heater may only be used outdoors in dry weather and under super-
vision.
8. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower
or swimming pool.
9. When disconnecting the heater, always make sure that the selector knob
is in 0 position and never pull the plug by the cord.
10. Do not allow foreign objects to enter the heater as this may cause an
electric shock or a fire hazard.
11. To prevent the possible risk of fire, please ensure that the heater is not
covered by any objects.
12. Do not use in areas where there is petrol, paint or any other flammable
liquids stored.
13. Never use the heater for anything other than its intended purpose.
14. The heater must not be directly located below a socket outlet.
15. Always ensure that the heater has cooled fully before storing.
OPERATION
1. Place the heater on a firm level surface free from obstructions and at
least 3 feet away from any wall or combustible materials.
2. With the selector knob in the 0 position, plug the heater into the mains
supply.
3. Turn the selector knob to either (1) for 450 Watt or (2) for 900 Watt.
4. Turn the selector knob fully to the
position to activate the oscilla-
tion feature.
5. Turn the selector knob to the 0 position and unplug the unit when you
have finished using it.
