InSTaLLaTIOn dIrEcTIOnS
Please ensure that the power is off prior to installa-
tion, and pay attention to the following steps;
care should be taken to align bolts and threads to
ensure no cross threading.
Preparing the Foundation
1. Make sure the power is cut off before installa-
tion.
2. check all the parts of the lamp post.
3. dig a hole in the ground with the dimensions
LxWxd: 10×10x16 inches.
4. Put the bolts in the mounting triangle and fix into
the hole. Make sure that the bolts are sticking up
enough through the base so that the pole can be
fixed with the domed nuts supplied. Fill the hole
with concrete. More than 20 inches of the cable
must stick up from the ground.
5. Mount the lamp post after the foundation has
hardened.
Mounting the Lamp Post
(see FIG. 1 and 2, last page)
1. connect the cable to the terminal block. Pull
the cable to the terminal block through the post
from the bottom to the top. Fix the base on the
foundation with M8 nuts.
2. connect the cable from the lantern(s) to the top
terminal block.
3. Mount the lantern(s) on the post. Fix with
screws.
Note:
users should keep cleaning the glass often. do
not use the light without protection glass and change
the glass immediately if it is broken.
SaFETy dIrEcTIOnS
•
Electrical work may only be carried out with the
mains voltage switched off and only by a qualified
electrician.
•
after turning on the switch, the bulb will become
hot. When the bulb is lit or not completely cooled,
please do not touch the bulb with bare hands.
•
When changing the bulb, please cut off power
first and change the bulb after it has cooled down
(see changing the Bulb below for details).
cHangIng THE BuLB
1. Turn off the power.
2. remove the top of the lantern.
3. Screw the cooled bulb off carefully.
4. The new and clean bulb should be screwed into
the lamp holder correctly.
5. Before turning on the power, replace the top of
the lantern.
