the charger shall be protected by
MCB, max 16A, against overload
and short-circuit.
Since the charger is equipped with
RCD type A + DC 6mA there
is no need for additional RCD if
the charger’s connection cable
is mechanically protected in it’s
full length. However, if the con-
nection cable is unprotected to
a junction box with strain relief
or connected to a socket with
assembled IeC plug the mains
should be protected according
to current electrical rules with an
RCD 30mA A type.
1. Drill the holes according to
the reference paper.
2. Hammer the 30 mm plastic
plugs into the holes. take
down the reference paper
from the wall afterwards.
3. Fix the plate with 30 mm
screws on the wall.
4. Slide the station onto the
wall plate.
5. For fixed installation, the
connection cable from the
charger must be connected
to line using a junction box
with strain relief. If the con-
nection cable is protected
by cable trunking in it’s full
length, strain relief can be
excluded.
Note:
terminals in the junc-
tion box must suitable for
fine stranded (class 5) wire.
6. Fix the holder for the charg-
ing plug and the hook for
the cable in a suitable place.
It is important that the pro-
tective film is removed after
installation as it may melt
when exposed to sunlight!
