FUNCTIONAL 
DESCRIPTION

CAUTION:

Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before adjusting or checking function on the
tool.

Switch action

CAUTION:

Before plugging in the tool, always check to see that the
switch trigger actuates properly and returns to the “OFF”
position when released.

To start the tool, simply pull the switch trigger. Release the
switch trigger to stop.

ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before carrying out any work on the tool.

Side handle (auxiliary handle)

The side handle swings around 360° on the vertical as well
as back and forth on the horizontal. Turn the clamp nut clock-
wise to secure the handle in the desired position.

Installing or removing the bit

There is a raised dimple on one of the faces of the tool
retainer handle where you grip it. Pull out and then turn the
tool retainer so that the dimple faces toward the large open-
ing in the end of the tool (tool holder). The shank of the bit is
then inserted into the tool holder with the notched portion on
the shank facing back toward the tool retainer. Insert the bit
into the tool holder as far as it will go.
